Artist Profile
現代のルネサンスマン、アンディ・サマーズ（ミュージシャン、作曲家、写真家、ギタリスト、ドキュメンタリー作家、作家）は、ヒット曲を多数生み出し、音楽史上最も重要なバンドであり続けるポリスのメンバー。
作家として2006年に自伝「One Train Later」、2021年に初のフィクション作品「Fretted and Moaning: Short Stories」（ロケット88）を出版。
また、レンズの後ろに安らぎの場を見出し、印象的な白黒写真で雰囲気や表情、場所を捉えることに特化した著名な写真家としても活躍。フランス文化省から名誉ある芸術文化勲章シュヴァリエを授与された。

About Andy Summers
Andy Summers, often described as a modern Renaissance man, is a musician, composer, photographer, guitarist, and author. A member of The Police, one of the most influential bands in music history, he has been instrumental in creating numerous hit songs.
As an author, he published his autobiography “One Train Later” in 2006 and his first work of fiction, “Fretted and Moaning: Short Stories” (Rocket 88 Books), in 2021.
Beyond music, Summers has found solace behind the lens, gaining recognition as a distinguished photographer known for capturing atmosphere, emotion, and place through striking black-and-white images.
In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he has been awarded the prestigious Chevalier De L’Ordre Des Arts et Des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture.
