Pitchfork is delighted to announce the final wave of this year’s line-up of hugely exciting acts for their second London festival edition, taking place from 9 – 13 November 2022.
On Sunday 13 November – in collaboration with Lewisham London Borough of Culture – Pitchfork Festival is privileged to present a special intimate show with Kae Tempest at one of London’s most exciting new centres of the arts – The Albany in Deptford. Additionally Saturday 12th November sees the final addition of two unique club events to complete 2022’s festival programme. PC Music alumnus and breakthrough future-dance producer Danny L Harle will present his celebrated club event Harlecore – fresh from similar festival appearances at the likes of Primavera 2022 – at Dalston’s EartH Hall. The line-up will feature Harle, hardcore pioneer Gammer, DJ Cryalot Torus & Cloudo from 10pm – 3.30am.
Across town – The Cause’s new Royal Docks venue – 60 Dock Road – innovative future-dance club stars I.JORDAN and LCY will bring to the festival a special back-to-back all night long set, from 11pm – 6am. Finishing the line-up for 2022, exciting new indie-pop act Samia joins the loaded and fully female-fronted Sunday line-up at The Roundhouse alongside Courtney Barnett, Cate Le Bon and more. Lucinda Chua has also been added to the EartH event on Friday 11th November 2022.

Following the success of the inaugural edition of Pitchfork Music Festival London last Autumn with 10,000+ attendees and performances from the likes of Stereolab, Tirzah, Black Midi, PC Music, Moses Boyd, Anna Meredith, Mykki Blanco and more, this year’s event series again features very special performances from a diverse and wide scope of over 50 exciting new and established artists, across an array of genres in various iconic spaces in the capital over five days.
Artists performing across the 5 days include Courtney Barnett, Animal Collective, Faye Webster, Jenny Hval, Cate Le Bon, Black Country, New Road, Desire, Lil Silva, William Basinski, Injury Reserve, KOKOKO!, Dehd, Anjimile, Big Joanie, Club Intl, Billy Woods, Lyra Pramuk, Sister Ray, Léa Sen, They Hate Change, Jordana, Marina Herlop, Lido Pimienta, Fake Fruit, Guerilla Toss, Johanna Warren and more.
Pitchfork Music Festival London opens with unique, Pitchfork curated weekday bills, special collaborations and label take-overs from AD93, Italians Do It Better and a 100 % Electronica New York Vaporwave event, coming to Europe for the first time, all at various iconic London venues such as Fabric, Village Underground, EartH and more. Like last year the week then builds to festival weekend events including a multi-room set-up at The Roundhouse, a multi-space / one ticket take-over of Dalston/Hackney venues including EartH Hall, EartH Theatre, Hackney Church and surrounding spaces, plus the newly added Saturday night events at EartH and 60 Dock Road and the Sunday night special intimate show with Kae Tempest at Deptford’s The Albany.
Courtney Barnett’s headline appearance at The Roundhouse on the Sunday will be her first in the capital since the release of last year’s critically acclaimed Things Take Time, Take Time as well as her first London indoor performance since headlining O2 Brixton Academy in 2018. Animal Collective will be performing live in the UK for the first time since the release of their acclaimed new record Time Skiffs, and their Friday night headline at Hackney Church marks their first London show in four years.
The first-ever edition of Pitchfork Music Festival Berlin takes place the weekend prior to London, from November 4-6, and now in its 11th year, Pitchfork Music Festival Paris runs from November 14-21. Each festival will be presented in a multi-venue format–spanning a variety of iconic music clubs in each city.
Pitchfork readers–and die-hard music fans–have been travelling across the world to experience the brand’s annual festivals in Chicago and Paris since 2006. After the successful launch of the festival’s London edition in 2021, the brand remains bullish on the continued expansion of its international festival footprint.
