SAM TOMPKINS MAJESTIC NEW SINGLE LOSE IT ALL IS SET TO BE HIS BREAKTHROUGH MOMENT

22nd September 2022, London, UK 9am BST- Sam Tompkins’ majestic new single ‘Lose It All’ was premiered on BBC Radio 1 last night by Jack Saunders and is set to be his breakthrough moment.

The Brighton-based star is one of the fastest rising British Male artists globally and the epitome of local-boy-made-good, someone who has eschewed the hype to find his own path. Neatly side-stepping the glitz and glamour of the celebrity world, Sam Tompkins is an artist who focusses on pure emotion, locating a universal sense of expression in the process.

The first single from his hugely anticipated debut album, ‘Lose It All’ is tender and true, the undulating notes of piano driving Sam’s voice to fresh heights. A stunning performance, those high keening notes are unforgettable, dropping from the heavens as ‘Lose It All’ dips to that stunning chorus.

In his words the song “Is about letting that special someone know you appreciate them before it’s too late. Something I never want to have to experience the wrong side of…”

It comes after an already stunning 2022 for the 25-year-old artist. His EP project ‘who do you pray to?’ released earlier this year crashed the Top 10 and cemented his status as one of the most exciting artists on everyone lips. He sold out every venue he put his name against, with his live prowess stretching across Europe. With a sold-out UK & EU tour and a packed-to-the-rafters night at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town already under his belt, he headed out for a summer of huge festivals appearances and recently supported and shared the stage with one of his biggest champions, Justin Bieber in front of a crowd of thousands in Norway.

Not only lauded by Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj is also a fan, and samples his acclaimed single ‘Whole’ on her recently released single with Bleu, ‘Love In The Way’ – she even tweeted him to say thanks. Elton John and Shawn Mendes are admirers, Sam Smith, Drake and pop phenomenon Bebe Rexha has co-signed his work, closer to home, JayKae jumped onstage on Sam’s last tour, and renowned UK artists Krept & Konan, Chip and Clean Bandit are fans. Such a broad spread of support simply represents Sam’s audience as a whole.

From his own critically acclaimed singles and EP, to the worldwide trending collaboration with Jnr Choi ‘To The Moon’; (which garnered over 300+ Million global streams and topped the Spotify viral hits chart);  and a string of viral videos and grass-roots touring; it is no surprise Sam has amassed a literal army of followers moving alongside him.

With more than 100 million of his own global streams across all platforms, it’s clear that Sam Tompkins’ decade-long journey is reaching a critical point. ‘Lose It All’ touches aspects of your soul you had forgotten existed, and fans are enraptured – the initial previews on TikTok have been streamed more than 4 million times.

Lose It All’ opens a new chapter for this incredible talent –catch him this Friday evening at London’s Lafayette for an intimate fan performance to celebrate. Having sold out in just a few hours of being announced, it’s yet another indicator that Sam is poised to break in a major way.
