Tommy Stinson assumed many different roles in his remarkable 40-year musical odyssey. Co-founder of The Replacements, Stinson started performing with the band at age 12, and saw the group through its epic 11-year run. For well over a decade, Stinson also served as the bassist with Guns N’ Roses for 17 years.

At the festival, The Replacements band’s leader, Paul Westerberg announced from the stage, the band’s last final show together. Paul stated that the rest of the band had stayed at their hotel rather than sound checking, calling them “lazy bastards to the end, and smashed his guitar.
In March, Tommy announced his debut solo Australian tour starting in May this year.
I am quite certain that in this ‘bio’ section there is a sizable window for you curious and or skeptical observers to peer through.
Luc ,[ a.k.a. maLUCo ] Belgian not Dutch, visual story teller, vegetarian sympathizer , lived around the globe and ‘on the road’ for most of his life.
By default he’s known as a music photographer, photographed ,and reviewed more than hundreds international music festivals and gigs in the past 2 decades , from Roskilde , SZIGET , NOS Alive to many others around the globe. His images capture big names in the world of music, spanning many genres.
Back to the beginning of his photographic journey, when he was 12 years old, he won a photo contest, a book of Dutch musician ,Herman Brood with his photos and paintings.
The book was signed by Herman. Ironically, a few years later, he ‘met’ Herman lying on a street in a Dutch city, where he collapsed after a cocktail of booze and speed.
While he assisted him to sit straight up, he looked at Luc- as if he wanted to say ‘thank you my friend‘. From that moment, his music and Luc photography have had a wild romance, and still is one hell… of a roller coaster ride. Herman Brood a musician, Rock And Roll junkie, an artist ….and a huge, – huge personality that somehow affected Luc’s life. We all, on our time, always wanted to be Herman Brood.
He realized that he wanted to become part of the music world , gradually , he developed a love for photography itself .
His playlist is on shuffle, not repeat and thanks to his photography he’s came across some truly remarkable people, some of them outstanding because of their talent and many of them special because they are great people …
Luc knows that he is a lucky man. Perhaps this is why his Instagram account bio says, “Gratitude”.
