Live At Leeds: In The Park makes its highly anticipated return with the first announcement for its 2023 edition. Taking over Temple Newsam on Saturday 27th May 2023Live At Leeds: In The Park continues to hone its staggering reputation as one of the leading tastemakers in new music after 15 years of remarkable festival celebrations where fans discover their next favourite band first. Today Live At Leeds: In The Park are sharing the first selection of names who will be appearing at the event in 2023.

Thirteen years on after the release of their debut album ‘Tourist History’, indie trailblazers Two Door Cinema Club will be descending upon Temple Newsam to headline Live At Leeds: In The Park 2023. Renowned for being a ‘festival band’, the esteemed Northern Irish musicians will be sure to bring a set filled to the brim with indie bangers from those initial early years singles such as ‘Undercover Martyn’, ‘Something Good Can Work’ and ‘What You Know’ to more recent cuts like ‘Are We Ready (Wreck)’, ‘Bad Decisions’ and ‘Talk’. There aren’t many in the game who can bring a live show as energetic and engaging as Two Door Cinema Club, and their longevity in the industry is a testament to that. Following on from their latest album ‘Keep On Smiling’, released earlier this year, we’re sure that the Live At Leeds crowd will be doing just that when they headline the event in May.

Speaking about their headline show at Live At Leeds: In The ParkTwo Door Cinema Club said: “Excited to say we’ll be coming to Live At Leeds in the park next year for the first time! Yoooooooooooorkshire

Still riding the wave of an impressive debut album release with ‘How Beautiful Life Can Be’, The Lathums are Wigan’s finest musical export from recent years, and they will be proving just why at next year’s Live At Leeds: In The Park. With new music firmly on the horizon, Temple Newsam will no doubt be one of the first places to hear a glimpse of their new material as well as solidified fan favourites like ‘Fight On’ and ‘The Great Escape’.

With a soaring voice and universal tales of love, loss and more – Tom Walker heads to Live At Leeds: In The Park 2023 as he looks to an exciting next chapter following the storming success of debut album ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ in 2019. Topping the charts and capturing the hearts of a nation, expect this performance to be an exciting glimpse of what comes next!

Fresh from releasing their sixth studio album ‘Raw Data Feel’ last summer, Everything Everything will also be on hand to bring the bangers to Live At Leeds: In The Park. From ‘MY KZ, UR BF’, ‘Cough Cough’, ‘Regret’ and ‘Distant Past’ to more recent standout single ‘Pizza Boy’, the Manchester art rock band will play a vital part in keeping the party going at Temple Newsam next year with a plethora of certified bops to keep the crowd moving.

Everything Everything said:“Always a pleasure to play in Yorkshire, always special to play Leeds, and where better than at this stalwart event?  Come and see us Live At Leeds: In The Park!”

With an unwavering, effervescent stage presence, punters will be able to soak in the atmosphere soundtracked to indie pop excellence like ‘Cupid’, ‘Sucker’, and ‘Your Light’.

Promising a set which is bound to be brimming with both style and substance, and hits like ‘Hello Today’, ‘Dig’ and ‘Out Of My Mind’, Brighton’s Black Honey will transport their cinematic indie pop-rock universe up the M1 to Temple Newsam as they make their debut performance at Live At Leeds: In The Park, whilst Dublin’s CMAT will also touch down in Leeds to showcase country decadence with a selection of songs from her debut album ‘If My Wife New I’d Be Dead’.

New Zealand’s own indie favourites The Beths bring their unmistakable live energy to Temple Newsam next summer, with new album ‘Expert In A Dying Field’ sounding like it was born for festival moments such as Live At Leeds: In The Park – while the swaggering Lime Cordiale bring their own effortless rock charms to the fore, proving just why many have touted them as a must-see live force that’s bound to leave the Park wanting more come next May.
