My introduction to Alice Cooper’s music was listening to 8 Track tapes of Love It To Death and Killer on the 1200 mile trip to Fort Lauderdale , Florida (the home of Spring Break) when I was in college. Whenever we couldn’t tune in an am radio station, it was 8-track time. Fast forward to the present, where I was part of the sellout crowd of 2500 attending the Alice’s Attic tour stop in the Event Center at the Wind Creek Casino.
For this tour, Alice Cooper’ band includes fellow Hollywood Vampires members Tommy Hendriksen on guitar and Glen Sobel on drums, long-time guitarist and bassist Ryan Roxie, and excellent guitarist Anna Cara, filling in for Nita Strauss.
The concert began fashionably late at 7:20. While the setlist contained many staples of classic rock radio, including “I’m eighteen”, “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, and “Only Women Bleed”, this was not just a greatest hits performance. Songs like “Dirty Diamonds”, “Caught in a Dream”, “Feed My Frankenstein”, and “Dangerous Tonight” remind us that Alice Cooper has recorded a massive catalogue over six decades. It would not have been a true Alice Cooper concert if it did not include the theatrics that his fans expect, and they did not disappoint
At 78, Alice has nothing to prove. Not only is he still touring. He is still recording. His latest release is 2025’s The Revenge of Alice Cooper. If that wasn’t enough, on Saturday, October 10 2026, his weekly SiriusXM show Alice in Underland premiered on Little Steven’s Underground Garage (Channel 21).
Alice’s Attic is much more that just more than just a concert. It is a high-energy theatrical celebration of a truly legendary rock star. The tour continues throughout the month of November in the Midwest and California. The US portion of the tour culminates with a Residency at the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, beginning November 27 through December 5, 2025
