A 5 piece band living in the Tampa, FL area, Bear Within Us is formed of members looking to bridge the gap between rock and metal. The band started piecing itself together in 2018, eventually become a ragtag band of Craigslist hero’s. Always focused on having a good time and putting on a great show the BWU crew likes to leave its mark everywhere we go. In our short stint we’ve been lucky enough to share the stage with some of our childhood hero’s growing up.
With driving riffs and melodic tones BWU likes to tell story a with every song. With hopes of helping you through any personal conflict you may be dealing with. Music heals us all and brings us together.
The name was based around the idea that although many of us portray ourselves as ferocious beast on the outside, on the inside we’re all just big teddy bears.
So remember, there’s a Bear Within you, there’s a Bear within me, there’s a Bear Within all of us.
