Curt Towne Band

The Curt Towne Band formed on the westside of Jacksonville, FL. in January of 2013 and has been dedicated to writing and performing original music since the beginning. Soon after the band formed, they recorded an EP at Martell Studios, which included “Whatcha Gonna Do”, a fierce, foot stomping hard driving anthem that lets you know Southern Rock is still alive and well! The Curt Towne Band has made friends, and fans from around the world by performing their “All Original – Old School” brand of Southern Rock. With Curt Towne on lead guitar, Barry Rapp (Henry Paul Band) on lead vocals, and keys, Greg “GT” Thompson on bass guitar, and Mike Cansler returning to the throne behind the drums. They continue to be a rising star in the new era of Southern Rock, while embracing the traditions of those great bands who blazed the trail before them.
