About The Band

Dave Malouin is a local musician who performs both solo and in the band Goldrush / Overdrive he founded in 1988… He performs country and rock..
Meet Dave Malouin and friends. For those of you who know or have seen me, you know that my song list is quite dynamic. As the founder of the band Goldrush in 1988, I literally played thousands of gigs in its 32 year run. Goldrush was originally created as a pop rock band, then drifted into country and classic rock band as the situation warranted.
My performance history runs the gamut of local venues and events. Some of my higher visibility performances include several gigs for the old “WKLB” at both the Roxy and Avalons in Boston MA. In addition to regular club gigs, summers were filled with outdoor events at places like Indian Ranch; the Hampton Beach Half Shell; the Massachusetts endowment for the arts town concert series; local fairs, festivals, fiddle contests and a ton of back yard parties.
