Biography:
Fred has opened up for Foreigner, Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson, Blue Oyster Cult, George Thorogood, Phish, Melanie, Leslie West and Mountain and others. Fred has worked on stage with Buddy Cage, The Peddle Steel Player for the bands New Riders of the Purple Sage and Grateful Dead Fame. Fred played Violin for the Woodstock 25th Reunion at the Original Site. In 2015, Fred has performed on stage at Third and Lindsley in Nashville, TN. Fred did a music tour in St. Croix where he fell in love with the Caribbean Island lifestyle. Fred was selected to be a part of the Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival at the Tampa Hard Rock Casino where he performed on the Hard Rock Cafe’ Stage for hundreds of his friends, family and fans. Bret Michaels and Michelle Branch were the headliners for this event. Fred was presented with a Dean Guitar and a Hard Rock care package of multiple items and he was invited to the wrap party. Fred Chandler was nominated for the Creative Loafing Best of the Bay 2016 Readers Poll for Best of the Bay “Best Instrumentalist.” This is fan nominated by Readers of Creative Loafing for Fred Chandler Epicoustic Events.

Fred will take you soaring to amazing heights with searing, screaming electric guitar, float you along on a melodic tour of your senses with his acoustic 6-string, then change direction and take you by surprise with his modern electric violin, banjo & ukulele. dobro, lap steel and more.

Fred Chandler is a Multi-Instrumental Musician first and a Showman a close second! Who knew that in 1973 when he strummed that first E Minor Chord that it would lead to a lifetime of artistic challenge and triumph in music.
Recording Artist:
Fred has completed over 400 songs in the Studio. Most recently, Fred completed the first CD with The Band 4X. The CD of all original music was released in June 2016. CD’s are for sale. Fred is scheduled to release a solo CD of all original music in July of 2017. Watch for the details. The Band 4X will begin recording their second CD in the winter of 2017. This is impressive with a full event schedule for the band, solo and open mic. Fred is frequently hired by other studio musicians to perform session work by utilizing his multi-instrumental experience. Writing, Arranging and Recording Music is a passion of Fred Chandler.

Fred Chandler Epicoustic packed the house and wowed the crowd with his commanding vocals. Fred is a multi-talented musician who recently relocated to the Tampa Bay area from Vermont. Not only do Fred’s vocals command attention, he plays guitar, violin, viola, chello, mandolin, dobro, and ukulele. He’s been playing guitar and writing songs for over 40 years!
But that voice, that voice! It’s absolutely captivating! Fred performed a set of all original music including “Crystalyne” a song he wrote for a couple getting married about how they met, “Green Flash” a spiritual song about that elusive green flash, “The Arch” a song about a child with leukemia and “Lover’s Overture” his own personal “Bohemian Rhapsody”.
