Jamie & Royce’s uptown, low down blues is where 1920’s cabaret style, meets gospel, swing, and boogie. Classically trained with gospel roots, Jamie began singing in North Carolina churches as a child. She studies music and voice at Southeastern University and now performs with several bands around Tampa singing southern rock, country and blues. Texas honky-tonks and blues bars where Royce’s schools of boogie-woogie and shuffles, Western swing and southern rock. Starting piano at 5, to jazz lessons at 12 he was gigging by 14. For 50 years he has played the piano blues, swing, rockability, and soul music of the South.
