Having played Jazz and Blues extensively Koko had a desire to go back to his roots and created Koko Ray 5. This five piece band pays honor to the music many artists from B.B. King to John Coltrane. Koko Ray Hansen is a multi -instrumentalists playing Woodwinds, Keys, Guitar, Harmonica, Percussion and fronting the band with Vocals. Koko Ray 5 is a cooker of a band with Steve Arvey on Guitar Michael Dempsey on Bass Nax Steel on Drums and Vibes and the beautiful and vivacious Karma on Percussion and Backing Vocals. Koko Ray Hansen has toured throughout the U.S and Canada and has produced many albums on Screaming Armadillo Records he enjoys a career that spans over four decades.
