RedGate formed in early 2014 and began to hit its stride in the fall of 2014 with private shows and shows at The Hideout Lounge and The Grillers Gone Wild BBQ Festival.
RedGate is primarily a Classic Rock Band, but is also diverse with Southern Rock, blues and other genres. Rocking country with covers from Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith. Rockabily from The Stray Cats and even a taste of jazz with the classic tune Spooky.
All bands perform, but not all bands entertain. Lead singer Tom Redgate has redefined “working the crowd”. His stage background is well suited to engaging the audience. The music diversity keeps the audience interested in hearing what RedGate selection is coming next. This combination has led to a good following of fun, rowdy fans who generally stay until the end of the show and frequent audience-provoked encores.
