Since 1998 an emerging force in the Tampa Bay music scene, Superfly Crew (SFC) has rocked the bay area, crusading through towns, bars, parties and jammin’ shows all over the east coast! Superfly Crew found it’s beginnings in the fertile crescent of adult beverages and social gatherings at The University of South Florida. The Legendary Eddie Machete (AKA Tampa Baller Eddie) dubbed the band with the moniker, “Superfly Crew” after the funk found its way through the walls of Palm Lake Apartments to the home of Kevlar, where the bastard music child was born. After many albums, house parties, poolside jams, and over 2500 shows later, the group still stands strong. Download their classic song, “Represent” FREE! Current members include Kev Purcell (Guitar/Vocals), Eddie Machete (Vocals/Guitar/Drums), Chris Cote (Vocals), C. Pope (Vocals), Trevor Dodson (Bass), Victor Berrios (Guitar/Percussion), Rick Ranalli – (Drums). Superfly Crew has performed at Blackwater Music Festival, Irie Vibes Music Festival, Jannus Live, Raymond James Stadium, and State Theater. Also sharing the stage with national touring acts such as Steel Pulse, Slightly Stoopid, Stephen Marley, Easy Star Allstars, Fortunate Youth, The Original Wailers, Yellowman, Rootz Underground, Rehab, Cas Haily, Josh Hendricks, and Afroman. The box set will benefit band member Eddie Machete, who is fighting stage 4 lung cancer along with their upcoming cancer benefit concert later this year.
