Melding the roughness of street hip-hop and R&B, with the sweetness of island zouk and calypso, and the consciousness of Rasta roots reggae, TREEDOMM comes up with a variety of fresh innovative sounds meshing each others previous musical backgrounds and presents revival music with a fresh and positive perspective on life’s everyday issues. The BAND recombines the elements of these varied genres (and others) to create a distinctive roots music with clear heartfelt lyrics, smooth body-moving grooves, and unforgettable melodies. Their songs seek to heal the world by exhorting people to positive action against such social scourges as poverty and hunger, while other songs cry out for an increased sense of the communal love and a heightened awareness of the things that truly matter in this life.
