Version 3.0

The members of classic rock band Version 3.0 are long-time friends and ex-bandmates who simply love to play music. Ben Kunkel is a former member of Sound & Fury and Dragonfly Ripple, with whom he recorded two CDs. Ben also has numerous CD recording/producing credits under his belt. Sharon Kunkel is a former member of The Breeze, Sound & Fury and Sons of Thunder who took time away from the music scene to have children – but she never tore down the drum kit. Ken Putz was a long-time member of Sons of Thunder who reunited with Sharon for an acoustic act – but they really missed plugging in. Version 3.0 was born from a desire to play personal favorites while entertaining the crowd. The songlist includes gems from the 1970s (The Beatles, The Guess Who, Doobie Brothers, CCR, Led Zeppelin), 1980s (Pat Benatar, Journey, Eddie Money, Loverboy and Joan Jett), 1990s (Cranberries, Tonic, Weezer and Stone Temple Pilots) and the current decade (Maroon 5, Gwen Stefani, Elle King, Jason Aldean and Pink).
