180-gram Limited Edition White Double Vinyl Record Available Now
The legendary rockers Barenaked Ladies released a new video in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their Billboard #1 chart-topping, pop-culture-defining smash hit, “One Week.” The music video merges together modern day innovation (AI technology, with prompts engineered by humans), with pop-ups of information and trivia throughout, “One Week” – 25th Anniversary pays homage to the iconic hit, while transporting viewers into a whimsical time-travel journey from 1998 to 2023 and beyond. The video is set to the live rendition of the iconic track from the band’s album BNL Rocks Red Rocks (Live), released in 2016.
Kevin Briones, President of Flux88 Studios, says, “We are honored to have collaborated with the Barenaked Ladies on a project that merges innovation and history in celebration of the 25th anniversary of ‘One Week.’ It’s a testament to the dedication, innovation, and creativity at the core of Barenaked Ladies.”
Barenaked Ladies recently released their highly acclaimed new album, In Flight. Produced by Grammy and JUNO-award winning producer Eric Ratz and recorded at Noble Street Studios in Toronto, In Flight marks a new chapter for the band. Across 14 vibrant tracks, the band’s 18th studio album seamlessly captures the hallmark playfulness and keen observation BNL is known for, while incorporating a resounding impression of growth and wisdom gained.
Also available today is the 180 gram double white In Flight vinyl with two exclusive bonus Ed Robertson penned tracks, “Hard to Do” and “Make Yourself Uncomfortable,” which brings the total number of songs on the album to sixteen. In Flight is now available digitally, or on LP, CD, and even a cassette (a nod to BNL’s 1991’s independent, platinum, 5-song cassette EP, The Yellow Tape), all available for purchase here.
