At 3:30 pm the Jam Cellars Stage hosted 20-year-old crooner, Steven Sanchez who put on a dynamic performance. Powerful from the start, he played his songs with style and tenacity. The third song was “Pretty Woman” and he danced and sang his heart out. Man, that guy can dance… as well as sing.
Alton Brown / The Offspring on the Williams Sonoma Stage 4:30 pm
When Alton Brown and The Offspring hit the Williams Sonoma stage at 4:30 pm, the crowd loved it. Talking about The Offspring’s music and who cooks around them, they had a clever wit amongst themselves. Cooking chicken in the ultra-high-tech “air fryer”, which started as a large mixing pot and eight heat guns, this monstrosity had a full revolving center with a ship’s wheel controlling it. It was nuts! It took literal minutes to cook five pounds of chicken. Very high-tech and very cool.
Norah Jones is a goddess! Her stage presence was phenomenal as she sat at the piano and sang on The Jam Cellars Stage. The band was outstanding a never missed a beat. She played an older song before playing a few off of her newest release Visions. She left the piano and finished her set playing guitar. The nine-time Grammy winner was well received and this was a set not to be missed.
The Offspring killed it during their set. We were granted eight songs since they had a special guest, Ed Sheeran coming out on that song. The set was brilliant and it started off with a bang by them playing “Come Out and Play.” The band came out on fire and the ample crowd was right there cheering them on. The show was great fun as they jammed through “Staring At the Sun” and The Ramones song “Blitzkrieg Bop,” complete with the gorilla and the “Hey Ho, Lets Go” sign. Ed Sheeran joined the band on the eighth song and rocked “Million Miles Away”, which was the first time since 2016 it had been performed. It was a stellar performance by an amazing band.
Setlist:
1). Come Out And Play
2). All I Want

13). You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid
14). Self Esteem
At 7:30 pm it was time to head back to the culinary Williams Sonoma Stage. Melissa King and The Beaches have been friends for a while. When they both hit the Williams Sonoma stage it was like seeing them backstage, They were cooking the annual Peking Duck that Melissa has with her family during the holidays, all while discussing the way they met. Eventually, a drag queen came out when they needed fire, and she had it. The drag queen did a full-fire show while they were cooking, which was impressive. Eventually, she shot a mouthful of fire onto the duck, and her and Melissa put the flames out with their mouths. Super impressive!
Ed Sheeran closed down the Jam Cellars stage at 8:15 pm and man, he was worth the wait. Other than some keyboard issues, which I guess weren’t fixed, the set went through with no problems. Being by himself, rearranging wasn’t an issue. He started with “Castle on the Hill” and worked his way through his set playing tunes like “I’m a Mess,” “Shivers,” and “Photograph.” He rocked the performance, and the crowd loved it. The set was long but was phenomenal.

Photographer of about 10 years, I have been shooting concerts for about 8 of those years. I started to get serious about concert photography about 6 or 7 years ago and now try to shoot as many as I can. I shoot mostly rock but, have done some country and big band stuff. I love music and since I am nowhere close to being a musician, this is a way I can be a small part of what, in the words of Henry Rollins, “gets me through the highs, the lows and everything in between”.
