CHARLOTTE WESSELS (Ex-Delain) Discusses Fear And The Obsession, Tattoos, Horror, Touring, And Hair September 26, 2024

 

 

Most will know Charlotte Wessels from her time in Delain, where she was the vocalist for nearly 17 years. Since her departure from Delain, she has established herself as a solo artist as well as a creator on the Patreon platform. She has been offering her supporters on that platform a song every month for quite some time now (more than 4 years). Some of that work and much more has been released for a third solo album. Charlotte’s latest album, The Obsession, which was released on September 20 on Napalm Records.

In this interview, Charlotte gives us details about her latest album, The Obsession, and tells us how its theme of fear plays a role in her life. Charlotte also discusses working with guest vocalists Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) and Simone Simons (Epica), her love of horror, her tattoos, and her hair.
