HEADLINE UK ARENA TOUR NEXT MONTH
Courteeners have released new track “The Beginning Of The End”. Widescreen and defiant, it features beloved Australian rock outfit DMA’S. Described by MOJO as “heroic”, the release fanfares the band’s seventh studio album, Pink Cactus Café out on Friday 25 October. Pre-order and pre-save HERE.
The highly anticipated Pink Cactus Café includes previously released “Solitude Of The Night Bus” plus current single and album title track, which have both received widespread radio playlist support in the UK, plus the sublime “Sweet Surrender” featuring rising star, Brooke Combe.
With Liam Fray co-producing all tracks and featuring additional contributions from friends of the band such as James and Ian Skelly (The Coral), Pixey, Charlie Salt (Blossoms), Ola Modupe-Ojo (Bipolar Sunshine) and Theo Hutchcraft (Hurts) amongst many more, Pink Cactus Café is pop-leaning, exploratory and the band’s most collaborative forward looking record yet. It is already receiving critical acclaim with MOJO hailing “Anthems” ★ ★ ★ ★ and described by Classic Pop as “Swaggering … mesmerising… irresistible” ★ ★ ★ ★ .
Released on Ignition Records, the album is available on formats including CD, cassette, signed and limited edition coloured LPs versions featuring an exclusive bonus track. Digital formats will include a Dolby Atmos version of the album. Pre-order and pre-save HERE.
Ahead of their headline UK arena tour next month, the band have sold out a series of retail album launch shows and stripped back album signings in locations including Liverpool, Warrington and Manchester. The last few tickets for their November tour are available HERE.
