The Grindstone Sinners describe themselves as “a six-piece rock band from Orlando, Fl. Influenced by the spirit of 60’s rock-n-roll, they write and perform their own music. With their electrifying performances and infectious originals, they are quickly gaining a loyal fan base.” I have been covering this band for over three years and they always surprise me with their roots and influences in their performances. I once asked guitarist, Jay Umlauf who his influences were? His response of Jerry Garcia and Duane Allman, blew me away. Not something you expect to hear in 2018 from a seventeen year old. But, this band is wise beyond it’s years.
