Day two of Gulf Coast Jam wasn’t completely overcast as the day before, as there were some blue skies showing between the clouds. It sure was plenty hot enough in Frank Brown Park located in Panama City Beach, Florida by 2:00pm when the gates opened. Head lineing the day’s events was country star, Miranda Lambert, and the buzz was in the air from the onset as the Jammers found their places to view and enjoy the days country musical entertainment. Having a day of the festival under their belts, the crowd picked their best spots to view and exit, from their experiences the prior day. We were also put in awe as a military fly over roared threw the sky as four jets flew over the stage in formation just after the Star Spangled Banner was performed.

Crowd Shots

Starting off day two’s Jam was Dozzi, at 4:30pm. These three sisters are originally from Brisbane, Australia, but have relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Andrea, Jesse, and Nina form a country/pop trio and the ladies worked the crowd up and down the runway and side walkways, keeping the audience glued to their every move. At times, it was confusing as the sisters look so much alike and they were switching off lead vocals. It was highly entertaining and a wonderful way to get the Jammers involved early on in the day.

Band:

Andrea Dozzi – Mandolin/Vocals

Jesse Dozzi – Guitar/Vocals

Nina Dozzi – Keyboards

The heartfelt story of the day goes out to Shane Profitt, who spoke of working for $11.o0 an hour just two years ago, until the day everything changed. He was out on a first date at a sushi restaurant, and spotted country singer Chris Janson and his wife Kelly, who happens to be her husband’s manager. Shane, left his date and went up to Janson and struck up a conversation, which yielded him a songwriting contract. Profitt’s songs are faith based and personal. His first album was released in 2022 and yielded a single in the top 20, at number 15, “How It Oughta Be.” Here is a humble man, grateful for the opportunity to do what he loves, write and perform his music to large crowds. I will be rooting for the young man’s success! Oh, by the way, he still doesn’t know what became of his date?

Shooting star Warren Zeiders was next on the Gulf Coast Jam stage at 6:45pm. A man whose music career started by the song “Ride the Lightning (717 Tapes)” posted on TicTok and it went viral with over 85 million streams, and over 200 million views. This garnered over 1.3 million followers on TicTok, and Zeiders career was underway. This year he released his first album Pretty Little Poison. Warren Zeiders was meant to be a country music superstar. He sold out his first headline tour in 72 hours! Check him out, he is pure entertainment!

Justin Moore started his set at 8:15pm. He is an Arkansas native and has 11 number 1 singles since moving to Nashville in 2002. In 2014 he won the Academy of Country Music Awards, New Artist of the Year. Justin Moore is a headliner in most concerts, but he has also shared the stage with many top country artists as he did on this night. He most recently is a co-host on 103.7 The Buzz’s morning drive-time sports talk show, “Morning Mayhem” in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Justin Moore put on a great show and the fans at Frank Brown Park went wild!

Go Hogs!

Unfortunately, management specified that no media coverage of Miranda Lambert was allowed. But no worries, I am sure you can find hundreds of amateur photos taken on cell phones throughout social media from Gulf Coast Jam 2023.
