Hawthorne Heights brought their signature blend of nostalgia and raw emo energy to a packed crowd for the 20th anniversary Lonely World tour at Emo’s in Austin, Texas, on March 29, 2026. Fans, both longtime and new, sang along to every chorus and relived the era-defining tracks that made the band a staple of the scene. This wasn’t just a concert; it was a celebration of two decades of heartbreak, hope, rock, and loyal fans that Hawthorne Heights has built along the way.
When Creeper started the night for Hawthorne Heights, you could feel the excitement in the air. The lights went down, amps buzzed, and suddenly it felt like you were back in a wild 1970s rock club, only this time, the band looked ready to bite. Creeper didn’t just play music, they own the stage, shredding through songs with the style of old-school glam rockers and a dash of vampire flair.
Right from the start, their energy was wild. Every song felt like an anthem, and every riff made the crowd want to jump along. It’s impossible not to get pulled in by their presence. Their sound is raw and real, like classic rock rebellion with a haunted twist.

Letlive. took the stage right before the headliner, Hawthorne Heights, instantly shifting the night’s energy into overdrive. Their sound hit hard, a blast of raw garage rock with an edge that demanded attention. The band’s frontman hurled himself across the stage, his vocals alternating between melodic shouts and guttural screams that filled every corner of the venue.
The set was less a concert and more a collective release of pent-up frustration. Letlive. ignited a scream fest, inviting the crowd to join in a cathartic purge. Every track churned up waves of rage, with the band’s relentless energy acting as a magnet for anyone looking to lose themselves in the moment.
What stood out most was how Letlive. mastered the art of channeling aggression into something exhilarating. Their garage rock edge was laced with punk ferocity, creating an environment where fury and joy blurred together. It was loud, messy, and gloriously unrestrained, the kind of set that left everyone breathless and a little dazed.

Hi!
I’m Jalys. Music and concert photographer located in Austin, TX. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Photocommunications. Pretty cool, right? An Instagram degree before Instagram was cool!
I enjoy traveling around Texas and taking photos of bands and musicians. Texas has so many awesome venues, and I want to photograph any that I can. Music has always been a major part of my life, and while a student at Texas Tech, I knew that I wanted to specialize in music photography. I have lived in the Austin area for over 17 years and have photographed so many cool bands. Let’s add yours to the list!
When I’m not photographing, I’m probably working at my day job as a University Recruiter. I travel quite often for work and love visiting college campuses! I enjoy hanging out with my 2 dogs, Carter and Tucker, and my adopted cat, Allie. I also love doing anything crafty. I enjoy taking random arts-and-crafts classes, anything where I can have fun experiences!
