Ivana Ilic has emerged as the season 2 champion of UNDSCVRD presented by Samsung, showcasing her incredible talent and tenacity in a challenging four-week competition. Alongside four other gifted musicians, Kalopsia, Vanessa, Haze, and Dylan Jett, they faced a series of challenges designed to push them to the limits as emerging artists. Today they release their debut singles, sharing with their fans the fruits of their journey over the past 4 weeks.

Throughout the competition, the five contestants had the rare opportunity to collaborate with industry giants like R&B sensation Tkay Maidza, platinum producer James Angus, and multi-platinum songwriter Brooke Toia. Armed with Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, the artists worked tirelessly to create their own original song and accompanying music video.
In the season finale, the five artists took to the stage to perform their singles to a live audience and an esteemed panel of industry experts including: Tkay Maidza (Global Artist) Poppy Reid (Editor In Chief – Rolling Stone), Tait Mcgregor (Partnerships Specialist – TikTok), Alex Reid (Co-Founder of Amplify) and James Angus (Platinum Producer/songwriter). Ivana’s breathtaking vocals, poignant lyrics and mesmerising stage presence ultimately won the hearts of the judges, securing her the coveted title of the Season 2 champion.

As the winner of Season 2, Ivana has earned an incredible prize package worth $100K. This includes the opportunity to create a 5-track EP, featuring her debut single and music video “Better Love“. She will have complete creative control over the EP and its future success, providing her with the perfect platform to launch her music career. As part of the shows ethos of independent empowerment she will also receive artist mentorship and complete label services from one of Austalias leading artist management and music marketing companies Call & Response.
Kalopsia, Vanessa, Haze and Dylan Jett also take the tools they have learnt and release their music today. As part of the show they get the opportunity to follow up with their own music video next week giving them a great platform to continue their respective careers. Over the coming weeks, fans can expect to see more content from the show on the official @UNDSCVRD_artist page on TikTok, including highlights from each artist’s journey and a shortened version of their music video.
Since its launch in October 2021, UNDSCVRD has captivated audiences across Australia, amassing over 64 million views and 1.3 million likes, shares, and comments. Samsung Australia’s Garry McGregor, Vice President of the Mobile Experience Division expressed:
