Luke Combs Closes Out Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 6, 2025

The 12th Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival filled the sandy beach of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park on April 4-6, 2025. This amazing festival always brings some of the biggest names in music to this picturesque location. Tortuga Festival is primarily a country music festival, but it mixes things up with artists from other genres contributing to the vibe. The festival grounds are on the beach sand, with a massive VIP section straddling the pavement and the beach.

Rock The Ocean Foundation was created to generate awareness and raise funds for ocean conservation. Throughout the run of Tortuga Music Festival, Rock The Ocean has raised close to $5 million dollars in donations. Tortuga continues to be one of the best festival experiences that the world has to offer.

Tortuga Music Festival 2025 Day Three took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Luke Combs and Megan Moroney brought considerable star power to close out the festival. Tortuga Festival was such a vibe – definitely an experience that fans won’t forget. The whole place was full of energy, with people rocking colorful outfits and just radiating good vibes. Everyone was there to have a good time, and you could really feel that sense of togetherness, especially when the crowd sang along to the lyrics they knew and loved. It was one of those moments where everyone just connected through the music. There were so many highlights—the food was fire, the atmosphere was nonstop fun, and the performances were on point. Corey Kent and Luke Combs seriously brought the house down. If you’re into country, their sets hit all the right notes. If it was your first time at Tortuga, now you totally get the hype. Fans are already looking forward to keeping up the tradition, and doing it all again next year!

Noah Hicks was one of the most pleasant surprises of the weekend. His band was close to a heavy metal band, thrashing about and looking the part. Noah added straight country vocals to the mix, making for a unique sound. This was a really fun show.

Lanie Gardner is making a name for herself, blending traditional country with a little bit of rock and roll, and a whole lot of attitude. Like many of her generation, she also has an introspective side, yet has fun on stage performing.

Kashus Culpepper is a U.S. Navy veteran who learned to sing in church. His mix of blues and country comes off perfectly, with his smooth yet raw vocal skills.

Lauren Watkins has a classic country sound, with songs about heartbreak.

Restless Road is something like a country Jonas Brothers. Although they are not related, they harmonize incredibly well together. They have a good time on the stage.

Bumpin Uglies brought the California reggae vibe to their early Sunday set. It was the perfect mood to get day 3 going, for those who managed to show up early.

Yelawolf was definitely an outlier at this festival. He rapped and sang along to his DJ spinning music. Although most didn’t seem to know his material, he was entertaining and engaging.

Caylee Hammack started the day on the Main Stage. Her empowering tunes got the crowd going and she and her band clearly had a great time performing.

Rodney Atkins had a bunch of hits in the early 2000’s and the crowd ate those up during his Main Stage performance.

Corey Kent had a massive crowd reaction to his performance. He and his band were very active roaming all over the stage and catwalk. He is definitely a fan favorite, especially among the younger folks in attendance.

Cody Jinks has an old school outlaw country vibe. His smooth style fits perfectly at Tortuga, where every style of music is celebrated and enjoyed.

Megan Moroney was the final act of the weekend on the Sunset Stage. People started the trek across the beach sand hours before her set time. Tons of women were wearing blue bikinis with white shorts or cover ups on top, in tribute to Moroney. She did not disappoint, delivering her self-styled “Emo Cowgirl” music for a full hour. Every song was a crowd sing-along, as hit after hit was played. Moroney is a fast rising star, having played the Next From Nashville tent just two years ago. She has a great sound, incredible stage presence, and songs that hit her dedicated fans right in the heart.

Luke Combs finished off yet another spectacular Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival. Combs is a legendary live performer, with hours and hours of great songs to choose from. He engages the crowd and takes them on an emotional journey. He has party songs, love songs, and family songs and his outstanding band brings them to life. Combs has a voice made for country music, and whether he is cracking open a cold one, or pouring his heart out, everyone drinks it up.
