On April 13, 2021 Mick Jagger releases music video “Easy Sleazy” On Twitter!
The remarkable thing about this video is that it isn’t performed with the Rolling Stones or any members of the Stones. Instead, it’s with Dave Grohl of The Foo Fighters on drums, bass and guitar.
Mick’s tweet describes the video on YouTube “I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much needed optimism – thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this – hope you all enjoy Eazy Sleazy !”
Check out the lyric video!
The lyrics are a fresh take of optimism and cynicism of coming out of lockdown. But more importantly the song addresses how the population has been manipulated by experts that constantly have been contradicting themselves by micromanaging graphs. The line “Bill Gates is in my bloodstream” has a chilling effect on what’s been happening over the past 13 months and where we are today. But no worries, “It will only be a memory you’re trying to remember to forget”.
It also seems like Mick isn’t the only Rolling Stone that’s busy, Keith Richards also shared a tweet of himself working hard in the studio on April 3, 2021. We are all intrigued to see what he has in store.
