WORDS AND IMAGES BILLY SEAGRAVE

Miles Kane brought his high-octane indie swagger to the O2 Ritz in Manchester , supported by the rapidly rising talents of The Royston Club.

Miles Kane, the charismatic frontman of The Last Shadow Puppetsand former leader of The Rascals, was in Manchester  as part of his UK tour promoting his latest album, “One Man Band.”

The evening commenced with a vibrant set from The Royston Club, a young indie band from Wrexham, Wales, gaining recognition with their debut album, “Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars.” Their performance, featuring a mix of lively tunes and melodic ballads, drew comparisons to Arctic Monkeys, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and The Courteeners. The crowd enthusiastically embraced their energetic stage presence, singing along to hits like “Blisters,” “Cold Sweats,” and “Mr Narcissistic,” concluding with a powerful rendition of “I’m a Liar” and well-deserved applause.
