Nothing More Guitarist Mark Vollelunga Discusses New Album, Old Albums, And Guitar Solos 5/23/2022

Nothing More was formed in 2003 and they have achieved massive success all over the world. They have been at the top of Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, have been nominated for 3 GRAMMYs, and they have WAY over 100 million streams on Spotify alone. They just released videos for their new singles “Tired Of Winning” and “Turn It Up Like,” and they are getting ready to release a full-length record called Spirits later this year.

The band was on a co-headlining tour with Asking Alexandria and special guests Atreyu and Eva Under Fire as it moved through Pittsburgh, and guitarist Mark Vollelunga was nice enough to check in to the Dr. Music podcast!

Check out this extra special conversation where Mark talks about Spirits, the upcoming album. He also talks about the band’s first two records, Shelter and Save You/Save Me, and why they are not available. Mark also talks about the lack of guitar solos in a lot of today’s music, the band’s writing process, touring, and what song he might play for someone that’s never heard Nothing More music.
