Fresh off their recognition on Eddie Trunk‘s list of top 10 rock records for 2021, Resist & Bite is kicking off 2022 early, headlining a show at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia, this Saturday, January 15.

Resist & Bite was formed in early 2019 by Tommy Skeoch (formerly of TESLA), David Parks, Steve Stokes, Brian Powell and Nathan Utz (formerly of Lynch Mob). On February 29, 2020, the band self-produced and released their first song “The Myth I’m Livin’ ” on Metal Works, 105.9 The Rock in Nashville, TN. Then, in June 2021, they released another video for their single “Fate.” That song was recorded and mixed by Michael Rosen (who worked on a number of prior TESLA releases, including “Into the Now” and “Forever More”) at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville.
DNA Amps also just announced that Powell is their January Featured Artist of the Month. As posted on Facebook by DNA Amps, Powell has toured worldwide with multiple artists and bands, including Clint Black, Ashley McBryde, Zakk Wylde, Joe Diffie, and Lee Brice. He has also been on sessions in some of Nashville and Muscle Scholls’ most prestigious studios.

Elliott is a music photographer covering shows in Atlanta, Georgia, and the surrounding area. The highlight of his photography career was back in the early ’90s, when he sold Neil Diamond the rights to his negatives from a show and then purchased a set of tires for his 1979 280ZX during college with the money.
