Queensrÿche and Accept Bring The Volume and Vengeance Tour to The House Of Blues, Orlando, Florida December 2, 2025

The Volume and Vengeance Tour rolled into Disney Springs at The House of Blues on a Tuesday night, December 2, 2025. The night was clear and a comfortable mid-seventies as fans lined up to gain entrance into the venue. The lower level filled up as the top level was VIP seating for this show. The House of Blues sells out at roughly 1,500 patrons with 1,100 being the capacity of the lower level, so a guestimate of the attendance was around 1,300. The Volume and Vengeance Tour is Queensrÿche with Accept as the opening band.

Accept started the night by starting at 6:50 PM, or ten minutes early, by entering a dark stage and starting the night with “The Reckoning” off their 2024 album release Humanoid. It was like an explosion when the lights came up, the speakers roaring, and the audience roaring their appreciation. Accept was formed in 1968 in Germany by guitarist Wolf Hoffman which to current day is the only original member. With seventeen studio albums, five live albums, and nine compilation albums, Accept has sold over seventeen million albums worldwide.

The genre is heavy metal, and it’s easy to label as lead singer Mark Tornillo vocals being similar to those of AC/DC’s frontman Brian Johnson. This band really kicks ass and leaves everything on the stage during their performance.

At 8:15 pm, the stage started billowing smoke, and when the visibility was completely obstructed, Queensrÿche came on stage to a recording of Black Sabbath’s, “The Mob Rules.” As the smoke cleared, the audience exploded seeing the band on stage. Starting the show was “Queen of the Reich,”From their 1983 self-titled albumLead singer and St. Petersburg native, Todd La Torre, who was dressed in dark shades, leather pants, and a brown leather jacket, is the epitome of the rock n roll frontman. Michael Wllton and the rest of the band were down to business, rocking out the 15-song set with a four-song encore.

The band started in 1980 in Bellevue, Washington, and the original members are lead guitarist Michael Wilton and bass player Eddie Jackson. The band has somewhat changed over the years, but they have recorded sixteen albums with sales of over twenty million worldwide. There are a few Grammy nominations as well. Queensrÿche is a well-polished progressive metal band, and they always deliver.
