Strut rocked the stage at The Drunken Parrot Saloon in Saint Cloud, Florida on Saturday night April 10, 2021. The weather had been dreary all day, but the storms cleared out just in time for The Drunken Parrot to fill up and rock out the night. All Music Magazine was on hand to check out Strut on the Drunken Parrot’s well light stage.
Strut consists of drummer Emmett Hart III and bass player Brad Lepp from the band Rockit Fly. Darren Barhydt and Scott Roman on guitars, with the incredible vocals of Lindsey Brown, round out the band. The band covered 1980’s rock n roll hits from artists; ACDC, The Scorpions, Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, Ozzie, and Van Halen. All the covers they performed were spot on! The highlight of the night was the 1970’s cover, “Rock n Roll All Night” from Kiss. Tony Thornock, the Gene Simmons impersonator from The Art of Gene, came up on stage and shared the vocals with Lindsey and the audience went wild!
Everyone in attendance was into the show and rocked out into the early morning hours. Strut is one of the premiere cover bands in the Orlando area and one you need to get out and party to. Believe me, you will have a good time!
