On the 1st September 2025 New Century Hall in Manchester played host to an electrifying performance by The Beaches, a band that brought a whirlwind of energy, humor, and heart to the stage.

Chloe Slater took to the stage as the supporting act for Beaches, delivering a performance that left the audience buzzing with excitement.

From the moment Chloe stepped on stage, she commanded attention with her presence. Opening with a soulful yet energetic track, she instantly captivated the crowd, drawing them into her world with her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Her set was a perfect blend of emotion and energy, seamlessly moving between introspective ballads and upbeat anthems that had the audience swaying and singing along.

Chloe’s connection with the audience was perfect. Between songs, she shared personal stories that added depth to her performance, making the crowd feel like they were part of something special.

By the time she closed her set, it was clear that Chloe had won over everyone in the room.

As the opening act for Beaches, Chloe Slater set the tone. Chloe Slater is an artist to watch, and her future in the music industry looks incredibly bright.

Then it was time for The Beaches launching straight into their first three songs, the band wasted no time getting the crowd pumped. Lead vocalist Jordan broke the ice with a cheeky comment, playfully declaring that Manchester has the sexiest arses in the country—a sentiment that was met with roaring cheers from the audience.

Throughout the night, the band members were in constant motion, with Jordan and Kylie frequently swapping places on stage, creating an infectious energy that spread through the crowd. Kylie later reminisced about their last visit to Manchester, joking that everyone had two pints, which made for a rather subdued applause, and took a moment to thank Chloe Slater for her fantastic support set earlier in the evening.

A standout moment came during their performance of “Kissmit,” where Jordan, the bassist, was caught in a whirlwind of her own hair, while Leandra, rocking a pair of shades, engaged in a playful guitar play-off with Kylie. The entire band seemed to be in on the fun, laughing and dancing along with the crowd, who were clearly loving every minute.

The humor continued as Jordan thanked everyone for coming and shared a funny anecdote about trying to get a Sunday roast in Manchester—only to be turned away, leading her to get drunk instead. The camaraderie on stage was palpable, especially when Leandra and Kylie shared a cheeky peck, much to the delight of the audience.

One of the more tender moments of the night was their acoustic rendition of “If a Tree Falls,” where Jordan’s vocal acrobatics soared while Kylie and Leandra provided beautiful harmonies. The band also took a moment to thank fans who had shared their breakup stories via Instagram.

As the lights dimmed and then flashed red, the band launched into “Grow Up Tomorrow,” encouraging the crowd to sing along. The energy in the room peaked during “Paranoid – Boring,” where the band reminisced about their early days playing in Manchester, humorously recalling how no one cared when they first played there at 16. They also asked if anyone had managed to snag Oasis tickets, a nod to Leandra’s favorite band.

The set continued with the debut of a new song, “Jocelyn,” followed by fan-favorite “Desdamona.” During “Kinkade,” Leandra climbed onto the barriers, tambourine in hand, and sang directly to the crowd.

“Edge of the Earth” had the crowd singing along, especially during the epic guitar play-off that followed. The band expressed their gratitude, saying, “This has been unreal, thank you very much. You take music seriously here,” before closing the main set with “Blame Brett,” a song that had the entire audience dancing and singing along to the final lyrics.

As the band left the stage, the crowd erupted into chants and stomps, demanding an encore. Beaches returned to a thunderous ovation, kicking off with “Takes One to Know One,” where Jordan again connected with fans, standing on the barriers and holding their hands. They opened the encore by admitting to feeling homesick but thanked the Manchester crowd for making them feel better, before closing the night with their classic hit “T-Shirt.”

The show ended on a high note, with a huge ovation from the crowd and the band members blowing kisses and expressing their heartfelt thanks. The positive vibes were undeniable, and it was clear that Beaches had as much fun playing in Manchester as the crowd did watching them. This was a night where the connection between band and audience was truly special—one that left everyone eager for the next time Beaches rolls into town.
