The Rock and Roll Community Lost An Iconic Frontman and Great Singer of The Band Great White, Jack Russell Today at The Age of 63

 

 

 

Great White was a band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1982. The band had recorded 11 studio albums with co-founder Jack Russell until he left the band in 2010 for health reasons and was replaced. After winning a court battle about the see of the name, Great White, Russell went out on his own fronting a new band, Jack Russell’s Great White. 

Earlier this year, on July 17, 2024, Jack Russell announced he would be stepping down from touring with the band Jack Russell’s Great White due to his diagnosis of Lewy body dementia and multiple system atrophy. Jack Russell, 63 died “peacefully” surrounded by his family and friends on August 15, 2024.
