After not touring since 1993, Triumph gives us one more time to enjoy the music by heading out on the ‘Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded’ tour with 24 dates, starting in Orlando, Florida, on April 10, 2026. The inspiration after so much time, according to drummer Gil Moore in a podcast interview with Scott Itter on All Music Magazine International, was the record label saying, after the success of the movie, “Triumph: Rock & Roll Machine“, which was released in 2021, if you don’t tour, we are releasing a tribute album. Well, we got both the tour and the tribute album, The Best of Triumph, which has a release date of June 12, 2026. To kick off both, All Music Magazine International was granted interviews with two out of three founding members, Gil Moore and Rik Emmett. To complete the reforming of the band, without bassist Michael Levine, All Music Magazine International was granted access to the first show of the tour.
The tour welcomes another Canadian group that has roots back five decades, April Wine, as the opening band. The sold-out crowd greeted April Wine with thunderous applause, and they delivered a short eight-song set with favorites from their 16 studio albums, “I Like to Rock,” “Just Between You and Me,” “Sign of the Gypsy Queen,” and “Roller.” It was like listening to your car’s eight-track in the late 1970’s or early 1980’s.
April Wine was a great choice to open the tour and get the excitement started for the evening of great, clean rock n roll!

Canadian Music Hall of Famers, Triumph hit the stage at 9:00 PM with the expanded five-piece touring band, which included the added rhythm section from Slash‘s band, The Conspirators, bass player Todd Kerns, and drummer Brent Fitz. To round out the band, joining Moore and Emmett was Phil X, the guitarist who replaced Moore in Triumph in 1992 and 1993. This was a power-packed lineup that delivered the energy the fans would expect from a Triumph show in years past.
Triumph also recorded 16 studio albums, receiving nine platinum and 18 gold awards in the United States and Canada. The 14-song set included fan favorites “Lay It on the Line”, the cover of Joe Walsh‘s “Rocky Mountain Way”, “Magic Power”, and finalizing the night with “Fight the Good Fight.”
Triumph, in concert with the added influx of youth, really delivered a great and memorable show to long-time fans and first-timers. Adding great performers complemented the two aging members, giving them extra energy and reviving the past for those in the band and the sold-out crowd.
