The Public Services Department of the City of Lake Wales currently maintains more than 110 acres of parks and a variety of recreational facilities that include a 2.5-mile bike-hike trail on the shores of Lake Wailes Lake, a community center, a renovated historic gymnasium, several neighborhood playgrounds, and 2 recreation/sports complexes.
