A German and a Puerto Rican walk into a Tapas Bar… It’s not the setup for a joke, but the start of an intensely multicultural wine & tapas bar. The owners–husband and wife team Sascha and Yellymary–call it a “Wine Bar with a Beer problem.” Born and raised in Germany, Sascha has a working knowledge of more than 300 beers. Puerto Rican native Yellymary’s passion for tapas and wine started after exploring European culture with her husband. She is a Court of Masters Sommelier, WSET Level 2 and Spanish Wine Scholar Guild recipient. She also attended Law School in Puerto Rico while Sascha finished his MBA.
After meeting while Sascha was a foreign exchange student and marrying 18 years ago, the couple lived and traveled through Europe. While there they decided to move to Florida to share all they had learned and tasted.
