The Suntree tennis community enjoys competitive tennis in a family friendly environment. Courtside services are provided for the lighted 6 clay and 2 hard courts that sit within Suntree’s country club setting. Our team of 4 Tennis Professionals, led by Head Professional Paul Davis, organizes lessons, match play, exhibitions, and social tennis events for all ages and levels of tennis.
Tennis Teams:
Suntree has several women teams that compete in the SCTL leagues, and fields several levels of men’s, women’s and mixed USTA teams. The teams have also become their own “families” providing a nucleus of social play with members of a similar level of tennis. Not to be outdone, the juniors participate in their own tennis teams and competitions.
Whether it is for league matchs, exhibitions, or just to support our members, spectators are always welcome. Children can often be found engaged in Kid’s Club activities, which coincide with adult evening social events. The Tennis Center has a full program of Junior Camps and Lessons and the club provides all-day Summer Camps for the children with both golf and tennis included. The junior program is run by coach Jimmy Roesch.
