GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mule frontman Warren Haynes and his acclaimed GRAMMY-nominated band Gov’t Mule have announced two special nights at The Orpheum Theater in New Orleans. On Thursday, April 30th, the Warren Haynes Band will perform their Dreams & Songs Symphonic Experience, which first debuted in 2019, with The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Rich Daniels from the Chicago City Lights Orchestra. The symphonic show will explore all aspects of Warren’s incredible catalog and career, including music from Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, Jerry Garcia, and his solo albums. Then, on Friday, May 1st, Gov’t Mule will take over the venue to wrap their spring headlining tour.
Fan club presale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, January 28th at 12pm ET/11am CT with local presales beginning Thursday, January 29th at 12pm ET/11am CT. This Friday, January 30th, Haynes is releasing a re-mixed and re-mastered version of his 1993 debut solo studio album, Tales of Ordinary Madness, via Megaforce Records. The expanded 12-track album, produced by Chuck Leavell and co-produced by Haynes, includes the previously released singles “Fire In the Kitchen” and “I’ll Be The One.” PRESS HERE to pre-order Tales of Ordinary Madness. In support of the new release, Haynes will embark on his Winter of Warren 2026 Tour. The outing begins with a rare, intimate solo tour from February 12-26 – featuring stripped-down sets exploring music from throughout his entire catalog as well as songs that have inspired and influenced his career – and then the Warren Haynes Band will head out for a run of headlining dates from March 1-7.
Following their spring tour, which kicks off March 27th in Denver and includes a stop in Charleston on April 10th, Gov’t Mule is teaming up with longtime friend and blues-rock titan Joe Bonamassa for an 8-show run of co-headlining dates this summer from July 29th through August 16th. The renowned quartet released their 12th studio album, Peace…Like A River (Fantasy Records), in 2023 to high praise. Hailed as “perfection,” “captivating,” “riveting,” and among the band’s best, the 12-song rock collection is highlighted by the singles “Dreaming Out Loud” featuring Ivan Neville and Ruthie Foster, “Same As It Ever Was” and “Made My Peace” as well as additional guest appearances from Billy F Gibbons, Billy Bob Thornton and Celisse. Visionary GRAMMY Award-winning artist Warren Haynes is a cornerstone of the American music landscape, lauded as one of the most formidable guitarists and vocalists of the modern era and a prolific songwriter and producer. He effortlessly cross-pollinates genres and unfurls solos that broil with passion in his distinctive, signature style. Throughout his prolific career as part of three of the greatest live groups in rock history – Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and the Dead – and an acclaimed solo artist, he has become one of music’s most treasured storytellers and his artistry has led to thousands of memorable performances and millions of album and track sales. Haynes is a beacon of creativity and musical excellence that inspires fans as well as fellow musicians, evidenced by the diverse array of artists that he has performed and recorded with, including Dave Matthews Band, Peter Frampton, Chris Stapleton, Coheed and Cambria, Dave Grohl, Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton, and many more. Following a handful of solo live releases in 2003 and 2004, Haynes — ranked among the “Greatest Guitarists of All Time” by Rolling Stone – released his GRAMMY-nominated sophomore solo album, Man In Motion, in 2011 and his third solo collection, Ashes & Dust, in 2015. After nearly a decade, Warren issued his fourth solo album, Million Voices Whisper, in November 2024, debuting at the top of Billboard’s Blues Albums Chart. The self-produced collection of soulful blues-rock includes multiple appearances from his longtime ABB bandmate Derek Trucks as well as guest spots from Lukas Nelson and Jamey Johnson. He followed that up with its companion album, The Whisper Sessions, in September 2025, featuring stripped-down versions of select songs from Million Voices Whisper. Haynes also curates and hosts the Christmas Jam, an annual star-studded holiday charity show in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, which celebrated its 33rd event in 2025. As one of the most celebrated and longest-running live concerts in the U.S., the Christmas Jam has raised nearly $3 million for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, constructing over 50 homes, and helps the region’s housing needs through newer partner BeLoved Asheville.
