On February 26, 2025, the Cornerstone Berkeley in Berkeley, California, hosted a highly anticipated punk rock show featuring Winona Fighter alongside Stratejacket and 2Morrows June. The venue was packed, proving once again that the punk scene is very much alive.

The show kicked off with 2Morrows June, a band hailing from the Bay Area. From the moment they took the stage, their energy was contagious. They launched into their opening song, “Intro”, leaving the crowd electrified. One highlight of their set was an incredible rendition of Lit‘s “My Own Worst Enemy,” where their background vocals perfectly complemented the lead singer. This performance was undeniably a crowd-pleaser.

Following that, they played “Rule of the Road,” which they also executed flawlessly. The set was crafted so well that the audience was reluctant to see them finish. Before wrapping up, they performed a few more tracks, including two songs, “M.I.A.” and Mrs. Dark Hair” that showcased their talent; the latter will be available for purchase on March 7, 2025. They ended their set with a fun sing-along titled “You’re the Fucking Shit,” which had everyone joining in. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Winona Fighter took the stage, and it was all systems go. They kicked things off with “You Look Like a Drunk Phoebe Bridgers,” delivering it with unmatched aggression. The crowd was just as excited to see them. As they transitioned into “I Think You Should Leave,” it was clear that the audience was fully engaged, and the band thrived off that energy.

Despite having a migraine earlier in the day, lead singer Coco was energetic and commanded the stage. Next up was “R U Famous,” which received roaring applause from the crowd as the band rocked it out. That song seamlessly led them into “Subaru,” which they also delivered with enthusiasm.

Following that, they performed “Attention,” an anti-government anthem that captivated the audience with its powerful message. After that, they moved on to “Jumpercables,” but before starting, they paused to express their love for a fan in a Live, Laugh, Limp Bizkit shirt. The band jammed through that song, and then they took a moment to thank the openers and give a heartfelt shout-out to all the ladies in the audience, as well as to the men who supported them. They declared that if you don’t support the ladies, well, there’s the door.

This moment led them to “I’m In the Market To Please No One,” grounding the song in reality. They continued with “Swimmer’s Ear” and “Swear To God That I’m (Fine),” both of which were high-energy bangers. Next up was “Wlbrn St Tvrn,” a stunning track that got the mosh pit going. The band even named a pit master, Michael, who was decked out in the “Live, Laugh, Limp Bizkit” shirt, and he did an excellent job!

“Talk” followed, encouraging a sing-along that the audience totally nailed. They then rocked out “Johnny’s Dead” and “Don’t Wallow.” The final song in the main set was “Hamm’s in a Glass,” which had everyone rocking out and cheering for an encore.

After a few minutes, they returned to the stage and delivered an insane version of the Beastie Boys‘ “Sabotage.” They shredded that song, and the crowd loved it. It was a totally killer performance with an equally killer audience.

The show ended with the crowd singing “Happy Birthday” to Austin, who was celebrating his birthday the next day. He even received a cake to celebrate!
