ABLAZE
Celebrate 5th Anniversary of Debut Album With Special Event
At Whole Lotta Love Bar, Melbourne On October 14
‘Ablaze have really earned themselves their rightful place among Australian rock’s finest.’ – Wall of Sound
Way back in October 2018, Melbourne’s Ablaze set tongues wagging throughout the rock scene with their debut album ‘No Chaser’. An album that saw them do several laps of Australia on their own headlining tours and land support slots for the likes of John Corabi, Marky Ramone, The Screaming Jets and Electric Mary. It even took them on a blistering UK and EU tour that included multiple festival appearances and more tour stories than they should ever share publicly.
5 years down the line they are in great shape with new member, bassist Paris Row, most recent single ‘Gasoline’ out earlier this year, another one in the chamber, and plenty more rockin’ tunes ready to go. So before their next phase kicks off, Ablaze are taking a moment to celebrate not only the 5th birthday of ‘No Chaser’, but also the fact that they still haven’t killed each other…. Yet!
On Saturday, October 14, join Ablaze at Melbourne’s iconic Whole Lotta Love and spend an arvo with the band as they celebrate the anniversary with a full playback of the album, a special acoustic set and even a Q+A. The band music videos will be on rotation across the venue’s TVs and there might even be a special surprise or two!
Brunswick East’s Whole Lotta Love Bar holds a special place in Ablaze’s history as a venue the band often frequented back in the early days – playing shows, holding band meetings or just for general debauchery – and that makes it the perfect venue for a ‘No Chaser 5th Birthday’ Saturday Arvo Sesh.
This intimate show promises to deliver something special to fans as the band sits on the cusp of launching themselves straight into their next release cycle.
Saturday, October 14
