Going beyond upbeat into pure, radiant joy, Lottery Winners sing the sound of summer’s ice-cold cocktails, multi-coloured lollies and the race down to the beach with Favourite Flavour, the
delicious, second single from their upcoming, second album, Something To Leave The House For. Seemingly unstoppable in creating silver linings, the high-energy four-piece unveil the ‘windows
down and play loud’ track amidst the glow of their recent return to live perfomance.

With their unmissable May single, Times Are Changing, revealing to fans that the band had bagged their second long-player in a brilliant burst of studio creativity earlier this year, their second single
serves to build anticipation further. Like the very best moments of pop magic, Favourite Flavour is blessed with accidental brilliance, deft simplicity and the kind of hands-aloft, singing-in-sunny-fields energy that Lottery Winners are best known for.

Having got the show back on the road in a socially-distanced celebration with fans at Manchester’s O2 Academy earlier this month, the band have amped the levels of positivity up another notch.Having got the show back on the road in a socially-distanced celebration with fans at Manchester’s O2 Academy earlier this month, the band have amped the levels of positivity up another notch.

Thom Rylance, front man, says about the smile-bringing slice of sunshine in song: “It’s a fun song. It doesn’t take itself too seriously. My fiancé is a nurse, and one night I was writing a song in the
garage and she came in and asked if she could help. I said yes, to humour her, and then she starts singing this amazing melody. I was fuming. She’s just good at everything.”

Released on Fri 24 September 2021, Something To Leave The House For follows their 2020, self- titled UK Album Chart Top 30 debut, landing just prior to the UK’s first lockdown. The year that
followed kept them off stage, but kick-started a remarkable period of creativity, including the release of the emotive An Open Letter To Creatives and the band’s sensational, viral collaboration
with Nickelback with the Rock Star Sea Shanty.
