ANGÈLE ANNOUNCES HEADLINE SHOW AT LONDON O2 ACADEMY BRIXTON 2023
Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle will be making her UK debut in 2023, performing at London O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 23rd May. Tickets go on sale Friday 23rd September at 10am via gigsandtours.com.
Born into a family of artists, Angèle has music in her blood. After studying jazz, she began to play small, intimate shows at cafes in Brussels, before releasing covers of pop classics on social media, where she gained her well-deserved recognition and an incredible following.
Her first three hits ‘La Loi de Murphy’, ‘Je Veux Tes Yeux’ and ‘La Thune’ served as a refreshing introduction to her musical identity, bringing her French-inspired electropop sound to fruition. Angèle has since released her first album, ‘Brol’ which has sold 1.5 million albums globally, shortly followed by the release of her critically acclaimed 13-track record, ‘Nonante-Cinq’ 3 years later.
Having previously featured on Dua Lipa’s dance-pop track ‘Fever’ before joining her on part of the Future Nostalgia tour, this will be Angèle’s first European headline tour.
