Birdy releases ‘Your Arms’, out via Warner Music. ‘Your Arms’ is the third track to be released from Birdy’s upcoming album, Portraits, which is now set for release on Friday 18th August 2023.
Following the release of ‘Raincatchers’ and ‘Heartbreaker – which are both shifts away from Birdy’s previous music as they delve into an alt-pop world laden with polished and gleaming alt-pop aesthetics – on ‘Your Arms’, Birdy returns to familiar sounds. On the track, Birdy creates an enveloping ballad, incorporating sumptuous vocals, tranquil piano, and refined arrangements.

In her most confident album yet, Portraits sees Birdy take a liberated leap into the unknown, her timeless songwriting style now infused with a fresh, exuberant rush of energy and inventive, off-kilter production flourishes. It’s the sound of a creative stepping into a new world and thrillingly, finding her true voice.
