Bridgestone Arena was buzzing with young twenty-something Pitbull fans dressed in bald caps and sunglasses. People had signs, many of them inviting people to “meet them at the hotel room” A DJ was on stage preshow to keep the fans entertained and the cameramen were projecting shots on the side screens of the fans similar to what they do on the jumbotron at sporting events. And just like they do at sporting events, the crowd watched and reacted to each person on the screen.
The room went black and the screen on the stage lit up with a huge image of Iggy Azaela. A few moments later, Iggy and her dancers hit the stage with hair flinging and booties swinging. Iggy got 20,000 people out of their seats and started a dance party in the arena. The Australian-born artist opened up with “Work” and then her social media anthem “Sally Walker”. She kept the party going with her hits before ending her set with her chart-topping song “Fancy”. The fans were well warmed up for the arrival of “Mr. Worldwide” on stage.

A huge, solid black curtain covered the stage and the fans were itching for it to come down! When the lights went down signaling the start of the show, thousands and thousands of phones lit up the arena waiting to record the curtain falling. The curtain falls and Pitbull and the dance party that Iggy started continued with “Can’t Stop the Party”. The whole crowd was singing along “YEAH-AH-YEAH-AH-YEAH”! Moving through songs like “Hotel” (a throwback to Sugar Hill Gang with the lyrics “Hotel, motel, Holiday Inn”). A few medleys to keep the crowd energized and on their feet dancing! Pitbull closed out the show with four strong encore songs ending with a bang with “Give Me Everything”.
