CASEY LOWERY
LISTEN TO THE TRACK HERE
Following his sold out European tour and break up with his label, Casey Lowery is back with brand new single Low Mood Season. Releasing 100% independently this song follows Casey’s other releases this year, Not Ready and Kebab Tune, both songs gaining in excess of 50,000 pre-saves ahead of release.
Low Mood Season is about the will to step up for someone you care about when they’re feeling low even though you’re going through it yourself. It’s about the act of service you offer despite bearing your own mental strains and being there for someone you care about.
Speaking about Low Mood Season, Casey says:
‘Low mood season is about a show of love so strong that even when you’re going through it you can still be there for that one special person‘.
Co-produced by his trusted collaborator Raffer the song showcases a more serious and sensitive side to Casey and highlights the dynamics in Casey’s writing and production. 5% of profits from this release will be donated to mental health charity Music Minds Matter – https://www.musicmindsmatter.org.uk/
A bit more about Casey…
When Casey’s grandfather passed away in 2023, he left him a caravan – an old holiday home on the English coastline which contained a history Casey hadn’t previously thought about. When he arrived, moving in temporarily with his dog and removing himself from his usual, metropolitan surroundings, Casey found instant inspiration.
Casey has already toured extensively and since 2021 every tour that he has put on sale has sold out. Last year Casey played a fantastically received gig at London’s iconic KOKO, as part of a headline tour, in partnership with Music Venue Trust. He has also established rapidly growing audiences in Australia and South Africa through repeatedly playing live in these parts of the world.
Growing up in Chesterfield, a market town in the English midlands as an only child with a penchant for the spotlight, Casey was exposed to and inspired by the greats of 00s English pop culture, including Robbie Williams and Arctic Monkeys. He initially played the clarinet while developing his musical skills and tastes, before he started writing songs at 14.
