Christina Aguilera returned to the UK for two shows after being away for the past three years. Her first stop was at The Scarborough Open Air Theatre, in Scarborough, England on August 2, 2022. The crowed as in a frenzy as they welcomed her back after her long hiatus.
Aguilera, opened the show opened with a “Dirrty”/ “Can’t Hold Us Down” Mash Up and It appeared everyone in attendance had their cell phone up and was recording the start of the show. The set included 19 songs covering a majority of her catalog with multiple costume changes along the way. The setlist included three new songs, “Santo”, “Sueltame”, and “ Pa’ mis muchachas” from her new album AGUILERA which was released this past May.
The Scarborough Open Air Theatre has a capacity of 8,000 but it was obvious that was exceeded by the fans of this International Icon with estimated sales over 90 million records worldwide. Touring on the strength of her latest release, AGUILERA which was released this past May.
