NEW YORK RANGERS’ LEGENDARY GOALIE, HENRIK LUNDQVIST,
TRADES A STICK AND A PUCK FOR A GUITAR,
JOINING DIRTY HONEY ONSTAGE AT WEBSTER HALL
Rock’n’Roll and a hockey great united last night when the Young Guns tour – co-headliners Dirty Honey and Mammoth-WVH – played to a packed Webster Hall in New York. Toward the end of Dirty Honey’s set, vocalist Marc LaBelle put on his New York Rangers jersey and introduced his good buddy, the team’s legendary hockey goalie Henrik Lundqvist, to join the band onstage for the song “The Wire.” With the audience chanting his name, Lindqvist strapped on his guitar and more than held his own.
