The See You Tonight Tour kicks off in Berlin, Germany on November 12, beginning a 9-date UKlEuropean run of Fall shows where the band will play beloved fan favorites and brand-new songs from their forthcoming self-titled album Echosmith out July 28. The choice to self-title their album Echosmith is a declaration of sorts. It represents Sydney, Noah and Graham Sierota’s fresh perspective and newly liberated approach as they lean into a sonic shift and bare-it-all songwriting that came from the kind of questions, uncertainties, and anxieties that we all can feel at times when taking stock of our lives and thinking about what’s next. New single Sour” further illuminates this new chapter for the band. Inspired by the challenges and commitment that Sydney found within her long-distance marriage, “Sour” features her silky vocals and a grandiose synth wave-inspired production by Noah.

After starting their careers so young and absorbing the influences and pressures of the industry for more than 10 years, during which Echosmith achieved 1 billion streams, multiplatinum success, a ubiquitous hit song with “Cool Kids,” widespread critical acclaim, and countless sold out shows, the band began to tap into their innermost artistic vision and ask themselves what kind of music they truly wanted to make. Deciding to boldly strip away all they have known, they took full creative control of their career with a newfound freedom and independence, and began songwriting and producing alone (a  first for the band) as a form of therapy and a way to have fun, to see what would organically transpire. The result is a left-of-center pop kaleidoscope of cinematic alternative soundscapes, breezy pop hooks, and crystalline synths that embody the original indie spirit of the band.

The forthcoming album, which also features previously released songs “Gelato,” “Hang  Around,” and “ Hindsight,” reveals who Echosmith really is at their core as young adults and as a family, exploring their marriages, doubts and anxieties, their protective sibling dynamic, their spiritual journey, and their evolving perspective on life after a phase of tremendous personal growth on their own separate journeys.

Last year, Echosmith’s beloved triple-platinum hit “Cool Kids” had a resurgence when it began trending on TikTok as users and celebs alike made videos using a sped-up version of the song to look back at their younger selves and appreciate how far they’ve come – serendipitous timing as Echosmith was thinking about their past and contemplating their future. The trend inspired the band to reimagine the song as if they were releasing it now, so they surprised fans by dropping the brand new “Cool Kids (our version).” Check out the performance at Billboard studios HERE.

ABOUT ECHO€MITH:

Echosmith’s stardom skyrocketed as they came of age together as both a family and a band  with  a  mission  to  spread  love,  positivity,  and  self-acceptance.  They  cemented themselves  as  an  inescapable  presence  in  music  and  pop  culture  with  their  triple- platinum hit “Cool Kids” and their double platinum single “Bright,” as their full- length  debut,  Talking  Dreams,  went  gold.  Simultaneously,  Sydney  stood  out  as  a positive  cultural  force,  whether  acting  as  a  brand  ambassador  for  Coach,  designing  a line  for  Hollister,  or  duetting  on  stage  with  Taylor Swift.  They  scored  another  hit with their bold, synth-driven single “Over My Head,” joined for King & Country on the   powerful   hit   “God   Only   Knows”   (Timbaland   remix)   and   released   their acclaimed sophomore album Lonely Generation in 2020. Along the way, the trio has garnered over 1 billion streamscaptivated crowds worldwide, toured with twenty  one  pilots,  Pentatonix,  and  Owl  City,  collaborated  with  Steve  Aoki, Zedd, for King & Country, Audien, Hunter Hayes, and Mat Kearney, earned major media praise, and performed on numerous national TV shows.
