Visionary electronic band Empire of the Sun will bring their spellbinding live show to London – the band’s first time performing in the UK in six years – headlining Labyrinth on the Thames on 2nd August 2025. The performance will take place at the iconic Old Royal Naval College, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. London fans will have the chance to witness the band’s anthemic sound and mesmerising visuals when Empire of the Sun bring its live show to one of the city’s most breathtaking locations.
Known for their kaleidoscopic fusion of fantasy and reality, Luke Steele and Nick Littlemore have captivated audiences worldwide with their cinematic performances and critically acclaimed music. The band’s newly released album Ask That God signals a new era, one that blends imagination, sonic exploration, and existential themes into an all-encompassing listening experience.
Empire of the Sun’s upcoming live show at Labyrinth on the Thames promises to be a true spectacle of sound and vision, with a setlist spanning their multi-platinum discography. Fans can expect to hear fresh tracks from Ask That God, alongside timeless hits such as “Walking On A Dream”, “We Are The People”, “Alive”, and “High and Low”. Bringing the band’s full-scale live show to the event, the band will also be curating the lineup, transforming the venue into a fully immersive audiovisual experience.

Their music is truly timeless and is the soundtrack to so many memories. Their new Live show set against the Thames riverside and the City of London skyline, will be one of the spectacles of the summer for London.”
As with all Labyrinth events, this performance will also foster local community engagement. Priority tickets will be available for Greenwich residents by signing up HERE, and partnerships with local suppliers and cultural institutions will create opportunities for emerging talent and youth development in the surrounding area.
The Old Royal Naval College is currently hosting another sun, a sculpture by acclaimed British installation artist Luke Jerram. Helios is a new seven-metre celestial artwork bringing light and wonder to the majestic Painted Hall, one of the most impressive Baroque interiors in Europe. On display until 25 March. My life is a soundtrack, i track my life through music, photography is my passion, my escape, my expression. Without both i have pieces missing, thankfully i’m blessed and get to combine both.
Born in Manchester, lived in Australia for 22 years where i was heavily involved in the Australian Music Industry, firstly in bands (Singer) and then managing bands (all original), I moved back to the UK, Wales specifically 10 years ago
