Following two incredible sold out shows at London’s Southbank Centre earlier this year and a handful of select festival appearances throughout the summer, Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra will perform three brand new live UK dates in January 2024.
Playing in Manchester and Nottingham for the very-first time as well as a huge London show, the godfathers of the scene alongside The Outlook Orchestra will present a very special score celebrating a history of jungle and drum & bass.
The legendary UK Apache will be joining Fabio & Grooverider on all dates for a UK exclusive performance alongside guest vocalists Demolition Man performing his anthem ‘Fire’, Jenna G performing her timeless classic ‘In Love’, plus Kele Le Roc, Cleveland Watkiss MBE and MC GQ. Very special support acts for each show have also been announced including Manchester DJ duo Northbase at The Academy on Saturday 13th January, the original Reggae selector and sound clash champion David Rodigan and platinum selling artist and DJ Charlotte Devaney at London Eventim Apollo on Friday 19th January. One of the UK’s finest DJ/producers and co-founder of Formation Records, DJ SS will also join the guys at Nottingham Rock City on Saturday 20th January.
Exploring classic anthems in ways never before experienced – sparking the imagination of generations of music lovers, the show will feature outstanding orchestral renditions of the scene’s most iconic and well-loved tracks.
Arguably one of the most legendary partnerships in music, Fabio & Grooverider remain at the forefront of a scene they helped build, championing the now global sounds of jungle, drum & bass and beyond. Widely recognised as the pioneers of the music they have been making their mark since 1988 and continue to be beacons in the underground scene. From their seminal residency RAGE at London’s infamous Heaven nightclub to Metalheadz, Speed, and Swerve club nights, their careers as DJ’s have taken them across the globe and influenced many across genres.
Since its formation in 2017, The Outlook Orchestra has grown to be a force in its own right, collaborating with champions of sound system culture from across the globe and striving to drive the scene forward in new and exciting ways. Guaranteed to be an unforgettable night, this unique musical experience will be a true celebration of the past, present and future of UK rave culture.
